• Calculate your Gut-Brain Score and generate AI-assisted insights based on patterns in your data
• Generate your weekly AI wellness report
• Improve app performance and features
• Process your subscription through Apple's secure payment system

3. AI Processing

BiomeAndMind uses third-party AI services (such as Anthropic's Claude) to generate insights based on your data. Data sent for processing is anonymized where possible and transmitted securely. We do not control how third-party AI providers may process data once received, but we take reasonable steps to minimize exposure and protect your information.

Your health and wellness data is stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage. We do not maintain centralized long-term storage of your personal health data beyond what is necessary for app functionality.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal health data with third parties for advertising purposes.

11. HealthKit

With your permission, BiomeAndMind may access Apple HealthKit data to enhance your wellness tracking experience. HealthKit data is used only within the app and is never shared with third parties or used for advertising.

12. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time through Settings → Reset All Data within the app. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data from your device.

13. Children's Privacy

BiomeAndMind is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

14. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from or related to this policy or your use of the app shall be resolved in accordance with applicable legal procedures.
